One of our New member does Farrier/equine chiropractor and equine Accupressure He has offered his services in giving advice. How lucky are we.
So my first question is, A friend of ours has a new foal that is about 14 days. He has almost the look of windswept. We have low Selemium in our soil here, so that means we have low selemium in our has and grass. He gave the mare Good feed but failed to add extra selemium. He is kind of giving this appearance in the front legs. \ /

He is now giving selemium, but is there something else he can do to help this foal??? And advise would be of help.
Second Question, If a horse in its yearling year is toeing out, on the front, Do you trim low in the outside of the hoof or the inside???? And does the same rule apply to the back hooves???
Thanks... For allowing us to pick your brain...
