Covert Moves to Bar Y Equine in New Mexico
BERINO, NM—OCTOBER 2, 2007— Grade 1 stakes-placed Covert will stand his second season at stud in 2008 at Bar Y Equine in Berino, NM.
The son of Champion Dash Thru Traffic won or placed in 8 of 13 starts including second in the Hobbs America Derby, Easy Jet Stakes, Silver Cup Stakes and third in the Go Man Go Handicap(G1). Out of a Six Fortunes mare, he earned a speed index of 121 on the track.
Covert is half-brother to New Mexico Hi-Point Aged Stallion Curlys Fortune, an grade 3 earner of more than $214,000.
