Subject: Which Halter to use. June 26th 2008, 1:15 pm
This is Penny, my yearling, wearing 2 different show halters. Both have since been cleaned up and I will be using a proper leather shank with a chain. Sheila might just recognise one of the halters I have a pretty good idea of which one suits her, but I'd like your opinions.

I like the second one... smaller leather for a smaller face.

I Vote for Number 2 as well, Leather lead, small silver chain, Good Cleaning and Ta Da! Looks like a winner to me.

I punched another hole in the crown piece so that it fits a little better, made the kids clean the halter and lead, then put it away in the bridle bag. That's the one I figured on going with. The other one fits Brennen's 2 yr old, so we'll use it on him. He has a bigger head so it won't be over doing it.
