Black Gold Futurity Finalists Not Posted


SALLISAW, OK—AUGUST 11, 2007—Qualifiers to the 300 yard Black Gold Futurity were not posted following 11 trial races run on Saturday at Blue Ribbon Downs.
According to track officials the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association protested the time of the first race that was hand timed when the track's electronic timer malfunctioned. Times posted in charts on Equibase.com would put seven of the ten finalists from the first trial into the finals if stewards allow the hand timing to stand.
