I don't think he will be syndicated but who knows. His fee shouldn't be TOO high since you can breed to his sire for $3500.
He also hasn't run very impressively this year and he is going to have a tough time at Lone Star - there are going to be some tough 3yos running up there...
He was supposed to stand last year but it just didn't happen...we'll see what they set his price at!

Yeah I wondered what the deal was with that. They just didn't ever have anymore ads or anything other than in the Stallion edition. I guess we will see what happens.

Hey Tracy,
The following was taken from stallionesearch's story about HEARTSWIDEOPEN winning the All American Futurity.

"Heartswideopen raced the 440-yards in :20.997. She ran the fastest 440 yards ever by a filly or mare and the all-time fastest quarter mile by a filly or mare when she won her trial in :20.921."

So, you are correct in your thinking - she is the fastest filly/mare ever at 440 yards.

Yeah Bobbey you are correct. I saw she did that. I just think that even when she leaves Ruidoso she is going to be fast, fast. I would love to see her have a chance to prove she is the fastest mare we have ever seen race.

What does everybody think? Is she the fastest filly ever?

That mare could be one of the fastest fillies of all time after watching her weave all over the track and still run faster than the derby with no tailwind. It will be fun to see what she does in the next few months. I wonder if they will ship her to CA.

Here finally are my picks:

AA fut.
Heartswideopen - rested for the AA and ready to roll.
Coronas Fast Dash - should be right there
Wild Six - a little tired from the Rainbow and AA

Greatful Heart will be a longshot which could jump up and win big. Qualified after being layed off for 4 months and should be the freshest horse. Look out for him at a great price.

AA Derby:
Valiant Hero - really tough coming back after a race, seems to get better in the finals usually.
Don't Let Down - Tough runner also great coming back to the finals.

Separate Bet - i think he may run out of luck here, but if he runs his race he will be tough to beat.

I think Hiclasslajolla could be a sleeper.

should be a good race.

I think Hearts Wide Open will be super tough to beat unless she has trouble. She is rested and fast, fast, fast. Wild Six will make her run for it. I will be curious if any of the others can step up and surprise us.

Aw comeon now S.D., Cowtown Cat is a better horse than that or do you just think he'll run out of steam at this distance............... Very Happy

You are exactly right smokey there is really nothing else to take the lead so my guess is either Cowtown cat goes to the front and then gets eyeballed by another horse and runs completely out of steam or he eeks along on the lead and pulls a big upset. I think it will be one or the other and I think he will just run himself down. I don't think he is the worst horse in the field he just may be a victim of the pace scenario in my prediction. Of course I thought the same thing about War Emblem! LOL.

Harem's Choice as far as looks I just love the looks of Royal Quick Dash and Regal Choice and the whole family I guess and the grandget of that family. Another one is the Cherry Lake family. Like that one as well. They combine to produce probably my favorite Walter Merrick horse. Royal Shake Em. I will be collecting mares from that line as budget allows!haha

We have had this discussion before but with a new forum we better have it again. Who is everyone's all time favorite racehorse?

Mine is hard to say but I just loved watching AB What A Runner, she was such a hard trier and could just fly. I also really enjoyed watching Eyesa Special smoke the AA field. Whosleavingwho was such a warrior he was fun to watch. I really like old Country Chicks Man too he is a fast son of a gun.

But my all time favorite I think is probably Tailor Fit. I just loved watching that horse run. He was such a battler. All the sudden at the end of the race there he would be. I believe he was the last shipper to win the Champion of Champions too.

Sparky Mullins had a great weekend at Remington Park that is for sure!!!So did his Jockey, G.R. Carter!!!

I believe Sparky is also the breeder and owner of Country Quick Dash who is by the potent bluehen Country Zevi. To say the least Sparky is so hot right now racing his pink shirt are turning red hot.
