| So, Who is going to win the Kentucky Derby? This is a “Racing” board – so here is a small note to the TBs… Lets have a contest… Guess the top 3 finishers…as a tie breaker guess the horse that will finish last. I will try to come up with a prize of some sort - don't get your hopes up though! | |

| My pick to win is Street Sense with Scat Daddy and Hard Spun in the trifecta. Liquidity will finish last. A suggestion: Post this on the yahoo forum for those that are not on this one... Michael | |

| Kidd I think the 3rd place finisher will be Great Hunter, i like his looks and i think he is a good horse and could be a sleeper, and as far as picking the horse to finish last, hmm let's see i think either Zanjero or Sam P. As always may they all have clean breaks and may the best horse win (come on Scat Daddy) | |

| You know, I haven't been into racing in YEARS..not only that, I haven't seen these boys run, EVER. SO going off gut instincts, the PP and stuff I can read up on, here's my call:
One-Two-Three Any Given Saturday Nobiz Like Shobiz Scat Daddy
Maybe..but I also think Tiago could be an upset, and Great Hunter, and Circular Quay.
Too many choices! :p And my pick for the trailer--- Bwana Bull or Sedgefield.
Meh. o.O Never made a more blind guess.

| I want to play but I haven't followed the TB's like I usually do before the Derby (I always loose when I bet at the track so here is my guess for what it is worth what can you expect from someone with a paint in their pic )... Street Sense, Scat Daddy and then Curlin, and Sam P is going to loose it.... I like Cowtown Cat for the sleeper maybe 4th....(you got to have a cat in the name somewhere when you raise cutters great logic here haha) | |

You are exactly right smokey there is really nothing else to take the lead so my guess is either Cowtown cat goes to the front and then gets eyeballed by another horse and runs completely out of steam or he eeks along on the lead and pulls a big upset. I think it will be one or the other and I think he will just run himself down. I don't think he is the worst horse in the field he just may be a victim of the pace scenario in my prediction. Of course I thought the same thing about War Emblem! LOL.
