you guys should make a halter/ foundation alliance type thing!

all you stallion owners could market the babies and split the cost!

Yeah, I've been reading about that halter alliance thingy... the whole thing about it is, it's still a non-point show. So it'd be like an open show...The big boys are getting together the halter deal, and if they're doing that, just as me and TripleJ have talked about, they'll be showing, backing what they're trying to accomplish... well, duh! Think I'm going to pay for that class, which is non-pointed... huh-uh, no way.... might go to just see what the deal is. But I know so far on the halter dealy, the main membership is $500... thank ya, but not thank ya! I know a lot of the big breeders and trainers are backing it... we'll see how it goes...

My first question is... ARE YOU GONNA STOP THE FREAKING DRUGGING!!!!

We also see, IF this is an ONLY halter show, How many halter classes can you have? Also who would come? Only the big boys that know they will win the money? The only time you see NSBA Classes are with AQHA shows here and most of them are at Futurity time. They See the swing coming for a halter horse that looks more useable then the halter horse of 2 years ago,the massive muscled quarter horse halter horse. They are working on this NHHA. Wanting to keep breeding for the postive horse and cont. with the drugs. Making the huge halter horse, you know the 1400 pounders. On small bones and tiny feet.
They know the future halter horse is not going to be that. Ted Turner sets the mood and that is not his mood. 3 years ago the Journel had an article that he had said this way back then. He said we have bred for a no bone no hoof and to much mass. He didnt mind the mass so much if the horse had the bone and hoof to support it. But then you loose your refinement. Well he has made good on his word.

I will not say much on the subject since I really know nothing about it.. But, when I hear all the big boys are putting it together I have one and only one thought about it and it's not good..

Seems to me this is the whole reason why the halter classes have dwendled down to nothing. Now, like I said I do not know the facts so no hate mail please.. Where I come from all the big boys ran off us little people off and confirmation has nothing to do with the winning horses.. It's all about the big boy/girl on the shank.. And, the people who do what they do to win will never change..
