| OK, Texas people, time to help Laura I've been looking for a good, fairly competitive, open show series in or around Houston, TX. I'd be willing to travel up to 2 hours, if stalls are available. Rudy's been really awesome lately, and I'm thinking we could shoot for high point this year. Problem is, the show series I always do DISCONTINUED their H.P. award this year. Any ideas, links, searching tips? | |

| You need to get the magazine called the Horse Report. If you don't see it around there, let me know, and I'll get you the info on it. It's got ALL the open shows in it for the State of Texas, tons and tons of 'em. There's some in Katy I know, and I think some in San Angelo, and a couple more close by you. But holler if you can't find the Horse Report... I think it costs like $30 a year for a 12-month subscription. | |

| Tara, I don't think this guy that puts out the Lone Star Horse Reprot has a link. I know I'd gotten that same website before, and I never got anything out of it. When I called the guy, he said that wasn't his... so I'm not sure. It's Lone Star Horse Report, P. O. Box 470215, Ft. Worth, TX 76147, (817) 877-3050. In fact, he doesn't even list a website or e-mail address in his info. It's $15 for a one year subscription. That's why I thought it was $30, I paid for 2 years... Ha! Then I'm good to go.... | |

| Yep, that's exactly it; however, I went ahead and paid for it, stupid me! When I didn't get it, I called the guy and was ready to rip... then felt absolutely stupid! | |

| He needs to do something about that, I was ready to send in payment that way myself until you said something. I just grabbed my old one and am going to cut the form out and send it that way. |

| Thanks for the link Tara, and thanks for the warning 7C, haha. I guess I'll write off to these people, sounds like a great magazine for me. I couldn't believe it when our show secretary told me about discontinuing the high point award. It's like, we're finally ready, so of COURSE they would...sigh. Thanks again everybody! | |
