Im getting really frustrated, since we have had pigs move in next door my nice show filly has been dropping weight. She looks like a greyhound now.
When she is in she is nice and relaxed as soon as you take her out to field she is all on her toes and cant wait to get back with the herd for security.

Poor girl but she going to have to get used to them sometime, hopefully in time for me to put the weight back on her in time for show season.

I've always heard that horses are scared to death of pigs. Criminey!

We've had several that could care less and then one that was convinced that those little squealing devils were there to eat him up...from ears to tail...he was a WRECK...it took months! But he lived through it...

Try Roping one! Mercy, I had a barrel horse when the neighbors got out, He would call me to round them up, Scared this horse to death, affraid but by the end of the day, We had the pigs back home, and he was over it. And I had 50.00 dollars in my pocket, Doesn't sound like much, but what else did a 15 year old have to do on saturday morning, Plus I was paid to ride my horse! riding
