Spanish-Language Program Debuts At Zia Park
HOBBS, NM—OCTOBER 5, 2007—Spanish-language programs are now available at Zia Park for the remainder of the fall racing season that continues through Dec. 11.
“We started printing them last week and they’ve been a huge success,” said Zia Park racing general manager Rick Baugh. “The Spanish programs offer the same information and Equibase statistics as our English program. I could see people’s eyes light up and see them smile when they saw these programs. It’s really neat.”
Equibase collects and distributes all racing information in North America for track programs and Daily Racing Form, the nation’s most respected daily racing publication. “Equibase was really helpful and we were able to put the Spanish-speaking program project together in a short period of time,” Baugh said.
The Spanish-language programs are available every racing day at Zia Park .
Racing runs at Zia Park in Hobbs , New Mexico on a Saturday through Sunday schedule with a 12:15 p.m. for post time.
