Ima Lazie Too Equals Track Record in Black Gold Futurity Win



SALLISAW, OK—SEPTEMBER 30, 2007—Ima Lazie Too tied the track record while winning the 330 Yard Division of the Black Gold Futurity at Blue Ribbon Downs on Sunday.

Owned by Donald and Kathy Rystrom from Holdenville, Oklahoma the Okey Dokey Dale filly went :16.568 for the 330 yards. Eyesa Candy Maker set the track record on September 15, 2007.

Ima Lazie Too is trained by Guillermo Valdivia, who also bred the filly in Arkansas out of the Lazbuddie mare Little Lazajane.

She was ridden by Richard Vasquez and earned a speed index of 109 while earning $28,500.

Richard Joneson's Kitty D Ville finished ¾ of a length off the winner to earn $19,000 for second. He also bred the Takin On The Cash filly trained by Luis Villafranco and ridden by Debbie Freeman.

Cartel Lady, a Southern Cartel filly owned and bred by Bill Price was third. Eddie Willis saddled the filly with Larry D. Payne aboard.
