Wow!

I used to work for Gerry McLean, who trained A Long Goodbye as a two year old. I was like 12 or something, but I still remember the horse. I liked his name. He lost him at Lone Star cause there weren't any non winners of two races for him so he ran him for $6250 and they claimed him. Then I think someone else claimed him his next out. But then we didn't see him for a couple of years and he started running big time when they brought him back. Gerry's still pretty sick over it, I kinda rub it in every time he sets a track record too, so that doesn't help. He's a heck of a horse.
