| Let's see...... show! Couldn't get her in the arena!!!!!!!!!! She planted feet, froze in the stables, nope, not moving. She fought me tooth and nail. She was spastic, so we used the day to "walk" around and get used the sights. I was not going to ruin someones chance at winning by dragging her in there. Everything was a monster. She jumped all over the place! LOL A little frusterating, but at least it was only $10 for the stall and $8 for the class..... plus gas. Hopefully she will do better in Dec at the palomino show in Katy. | |

Aww, poor girl! Don't worry, she'll get better with time. Easier to deal with now rather than when she's all grown up! | |

| OH NO.. Well at least she got out and had a chance to see some new things. Maybe hit some schooling shows? Glad it did not cost you an arm and a leg to do that.. You just never know how they will act when you get them to a strange place. I have had a few flip over in the ring. Man does thatl make me sweat even if I am not the one on the lead rope.. We had one get away one year. The trainer had a hold of her too. They had not even got in the ring yet. It almost made me barf.. She did get high point Oregon bred. Then the next one she smoked em and got 1st under all three judges in the stallion service and open. She won $2600.00 that day and we got two buckles.. That was our first big win and we were very HAPPY people.. That was when the classes around here had 20+ weanlings in them. Now there as low as 1 or 2 and the bigger classes may have 5 or 6 in a class. This is the first year we have not gone in 10 years.. I hope it picks up.. | |

| Well, today I walked her around scary stuff like my diesel truck running in park. She thought it was gonna eat her lunch! LOL Then we walked between the horse trailers and stuff like that. | |

| Good practise. We always have so much going on around our place they just get used to it on their own. Chain Saw, skill saw, tractor running, my personal favorite the air compressor, hammer going and the blower. We are building stalls on the other side of our arena and moving some fence.. We used to have a tarp covering a cabinet in the isle way. When the wind came through it would flap and make noise. I had an appy gelding that got a hold of it one day and took off running with it flapping behind him. He was having a ball. Sacking out was never so easy... | |

| She's looking great. I'm lucky in that the babies I show are sometimes out of my kid's 4-H horses. Not everybody rides mares with babies still nursing, but we do. They either stand tied to the trailer, or in it while their mommas do lessons. And they get to see all sorts of scary stuff. My all time favorite thing that happened was at home though. We had some weanlings tied to hitch rails, and the brakes on the semi released some air. One colt never even moved. I was impressed. | |
