Pics of Scamp and we begin work-outs

tomorrow. I'm going to start tracking everything. I see him as being smooth right now, but he hasn't been worked since last October. The main thing is, it's there... just got to develop everything, start feeding 3 times a day, etc.

Oooh I want, I want! haha. He is gorgeous. I am a huge sucker for a flaxen mane. Pretty, pretty. He's gotten so big. I bet he will do great at the shows. Very nice looking boy.

We were looking at pics of him when he was a baby today, and he's grown so much, and really filled out... now I want to see how he'll really fill out. I wish I would've seen Kid when he was a year old, but we'll see. And he's such a sweetheart. One of those in your face, Mom, touch me, Mom, they're going to get me, Mom, what are you doing, Mom, where ya going-kind of horses....

I know his full sister, the older one last fall about November really came in to her own... figures 2 weeks after she's sold... GAWD!

He looks pretty buff already to me!! I can't wait to see the afters!! I'm glad I don't compete in Texas. Not even fit he looks better than almost all horses you see around here.

There's an open show close by that I'll bring them out in. Scamp was there twice last year, and he'll still go in the 2 and under stallions, so we'll see. I need to get them fine-tuned a bit, as far as standing up and staying there before I take off to the quarter shows.

At some point, I'm going to be hitting some pretty far away shows - might actually do it next year, where I can take Scamp, if he's still with us, and his little sister. I've always wanted to do like a summer circuit thingy, but I'm real concerned about what to do with the horses between shows on the weekend... sort of gives me the heebies.

And I sure hope to goodness Jazz's name doesn't match her in the ring. That'll be a hand full to try and hold, but I'd rather blow a $6 class than I would a quarter class. I think she'll be fine... but whew, that's a lot of mass moving around wanting to go the other direction. If so, then I'll introduce her to my little friend...if Jazz can win the 2 and under mare class, and hopefully maybe grand and reserve in open shows, then we're off to the quarter shows.

Thanks. As soon as I was ready to start working him, he got sicky again, so we won't hit the shows till late in the season... but that's all right, I'm in no hurry.
