good news at my house!

We've had a good turn of events I wanted to share with everyone. Back in April, we closed our business after 12 years leaving my husband and myself unemployed. I quickly got a job. I am a nurse. I took a night shift position and my husband just started picking up little odd jobs, but it was nothing steady. We live in a tiny little town and were hoping not to have to relocate to find employment. Finally, my hubby got a job as the Director of Human Resources in a rehab hospital in a town that is only about 40 minutes away!!!! That was last Thursday. Then, on Monday, my work called and said they had a day shift position open so I said YES!! Finally, I can get back to sleeping nights and working days and my husband has a job again!! It's been a tough year for us paying two full time college tuitions while making less than half the income...I'm glad it looks like things are on the upswing!!!

That is great news and what a way to bring in the New Year!! Its been a tuff year on most of us.

I worked night shift for a year, 10:00 to 7:00 It was terriable! You sleeping pattern was never right. Never! because you still try to be a Mom and Wife..
