The Tail

Okay, so most of you know my grey gelding lost 99% of his tail when he got a infection from a scrape on his tailbone.
The good news is, the hair is SLOWLY growing back and in a few years he will most likely have a normal tail again.
The bad news, right now he has NO tail.
Sooooooooo, we bought him a tail and although we are attaching differntly than it was made for, it works. We have to cover the attachment area with a tail wrap for now, at least until his tail hair grows long enough to cover the attachment area.
But, this will suffice for him to go back to work.

I noticed in the pictures some shavings. Are those the pellets? I use them and love them to death. They last forever! Sorry, I just notice little things like that.

Theres a product called MTG, it is great, stinks but works great. Grow tail hair like crazy!

Triple J, where do I get MTG? Do you think it would really help "speed up the growth"?

You can get MTG at almost any feed store or tack shop. Try Tractor Supply. I use to wear rubber gloves, cuse Tripple J is right. That stuff will clear your sinuses!
