I would love to go but I hate to fly. But maybe I could drink enough then get on a plane and I wont care. I would figure something out. But it does sound like alot of fun.... Bluejay are you making fun of my picture taking abilities? Because I use up five rolls of film to get three good pictures.(ha) ..... I'm thinking that I might be making it out your way in Sept.

Mare, my cousin takes pics and told me you have to take hundreds to get a few good ones.. She also told me to toss the bad ones.. You do take good shots.. I will bring digital and you will not have to worry about film. I think my camera will take up to 3000 pics.. Do you think that will be enough I will bring my lap top and we can edit in the hotel if we get time..

We can get you on a plane no problem. I was like you and decided I there are places to go that you have no choice but to fly.. I just went to Texas with my Mom who was scared.. I have one rule when flying.. If the crew is not nervous then there is no reason for me to be.. We can load you up with some REALLY YUMMY Bloody Mary's... YUM YUM.. Salt on the rim and everything.. YUM YUM... I flew on the props to get to 7C... You know, the little planes with whirly gigs.. I am here to tell about it..

You would die if you missed this. And, if you are coming this way in September you need to think about when. We will be heading for Spokane the last weekend for the big stallion service auction. You should plan your tirp around that. That will get you closer to home.. Plus, if you do not come see me I will be very upset.. I hope if all goes well I can convince Leann to come to congress and show my filly.

I can bring a DVD player and you can get drunk. I wll be the desigaited navigator.. BUT, when we get there different story..

I'm planning on hooking up with 7Cedars and going to Congress! Going to be a blast!!! The Texas gals can all ride share! I think there is what..... like 5 or 6 of us??

Yep, if we go, might as well all go together... criminey sakes! I'm just trying to decide if it wouldn't be easier to, Cindy, you just come up here, and we'll run up to DFW, meet Bucks&Blues and Emma&Slim, and all of us leave from there and rent us a danged van when we get there... HA!

You know, it'd actually be real, real cheap to fly Southwest out of Love Field... real cheap, especially if we get the 21-day advance tickets.

The only problem with this that I see is, I can't be gone for a week - there's just no way. Rick will want to see cow stuff, reining, roping, working cow horse and cutting, for danged sure... All I care about seeing is halter... I can deal with some of the other stuff, but only for about an hour... I can't sit still any longer than that.

i agree we should all meet up at the congress. Ill be this year, but my yearling halter babies are staying home, and so is Sophie. Next year however, ill have two- two year old mares,(one who was 10, 5, and 7th at the congress as a weanling) and Sophie is definalty going... already nervous about reining classes up there!
I was trying to meet up with some of you guys last year. I sat on Stallion Ave. with Mr. Revelations (our yearlings dad) and it was great. i got to meet so many people, but NONE OF YOU SHOWED! haha. okay it was some people from the old AQHA forum. but however. this year, i should be doing it again. so i expect to meet some of you guys.

if not, i vote for 2008. we all meet up. we all show our horses. we all have one heck of a cheering section we will takeover the showgrounds! mwahah.

So will you be on Stallion Ave. this year. So what do I do, walk up and say would STAND BY TUCKER PLEASE STAND UP? Hee Hee.

Next year sounds great to me ! I'm on board and there would be a slim chance my daughter would be showing in some eq and SMS. It's her dream and her horse is coming along nicely. We won't try AQHA this year, though, but next year we'll be starting. If we went we would definitely need a huge cheering section to boost our chances LOL!!
Any Canadian people who can make it across the border and to Michigan, are welcome to hitch a ride with us the rest of the way. Just to warn you, though, we drive a tiny Prius and someone might have to ride in the trunk!! It's a big trunk, though!!
Let's try to plan ahead enough to reserve the same hotel. The hotels can be spread out around that part of town.

I'm seriously thinking about showing this next year up in Congress... not this year, but next year, just depends on how everybody's doing at that point...but we'll see.

In fact, if we're all going, we might as well haul the danged horses... we may not win a lot, but heck, it'll be fun doing it all together.... and rooting each other on... boy, that'd be a blast!

Cool, I never got any body art. I could never figure out what I wanted or where to put it.. Good thing though. It would all be sagging now..

I did at one point think I wanted a black rose on my boob. Until someone told me that was the sign of death.. I was much younger and doing the cothic thing.. That was, oh, about 40 years ago. And, it sure would not be sexy now..

LOL, someone once told me "no tattoo looks sexy when you're 80". To which I replied "yeah, but I'll be the coolest old lady in the nursing home!" I only have 7 tatts, I think standbytrucker has me beat!!

I plan to me the meanest old lady in the nursing home. I am still cool though. Been there done that. I have had one heck of a life that took me down many roads. I am not inocent by any means and proud of it. I accept people for who they are and enjoy listeining to their views with out critisism...

I feel that people should always do what makes them happy as long as they do not hurt others in the process.. What ever floats your boat is a good thing. I simply do not judge others..

Stalling together would be a good idea.. I have never been there so I can imagine it is a huge place and you could spend a lot of time going from one end to the other..

Three horses will be a lot of work. Maybe some extra hands would be nice. I love to groom. More, so then showing a horse..

Shortly I'll be officially all moved in down in Hempstead (yikes!) - there is one great thing about that - the house to the track in houston is only 44 miles!!!!
