OK, how about this one?

OK, this might take some real doing. I think a gathering for all of us who can come and get together would be special.. I know that it would not be easy. But, there must be a central place we could come to meet each other. I had such a good time meeting 7C in person and hangin out.. I felt totally at home. I know others have met in person and really enjoyed it.

We could help each other get there.. Not something to bring our horses too since it may be like far away for me and my West Coast friends. Would have to plan well in advance.. What do you all think? Do not be scared now.. We all share so much on here..

I know some of us may want to stay faceless and that's OK. Would be a choice. For sure this is a good group of people and no nags.. didin't want to say the bad word.. This would take some time to plan and try to do it when the ones who want to come can. Just a thought.. How about yours?

I think that's a fantastic idea!!!!!!! I used to play on a bingo site that did that. Everyone met at a hotel in Vegas. I couldn't go....But everyone had a blast!!!!!!! Count me in!!!!!! I just need to know when way in advance......

Well, since Lynn lives in Kansas - let's all meet there... we'll just take over her house! HA! Just joshing, Lynn. But you know Wichita is kinda sorta in the middle of the U.S.

That would be awsome! I'd love to but I can't right now!! I'd have to wait until another time when I'm a little older and i have my license so that my parents don't have to bring me, plus i'm not really supposed to be on here anyways! lol

Wow thats a great idea... Not sure I would be able to make it though... but it would be a really great way to meet everyone and put faces with names.

Something with horses would be great, like 7Cedars suggested, but we sure are a spread-out bunch of people! I would suggest Congress, just because it's closer for us and we were planning on going anyway, but that's way too far for most of you!! I carry so much baggage around here (a.k.a. as preschoolers and teenagers and needy husbands!!) that it's likely you would have to count me out anyway, unless the stars were all aligned just so LOL!!!

I sure enjoy hearing about the adventures when you guys meet each other, however!!!

I would suggest Congress also It is GREAT! The biggest show in the US. Shop till you drop! Great food. Clinics, Free Style reining NYATT team Comp.

Im doing congress next year if it kills me! My sister just moved to Beckley and is the humane officer for that area... now I can pretend to visit her and spend my days at congress... I vote for the World show however cause we go to watch whether we qualify a horse or not big fun!!

Well, my "grand plan" is to take Tucker to the Congress next year. I'm going to spend a few weeks in Michigan before the Congress, visiting my family and best friend. I haven't been there since 1975!!!!!!!!! Oh Gawd...I'm old-as-dirt.

We can go to Congress this year and next year, because it's pretty close. I already looked at the schedule this year and we had dates planned that we wanted to go, based on the classes we wanted to see, but of course now I forgot what the dates were and I'll have to look again. I know it was later in the month though. We are more interested in the pleasure end than the halter.

Is Congress like a week or two before the World? I can't remember, I've never been... And TripleJ, I ain't doing no shopping!!!! Huh-uh, ain't happening! I curtail myself to a shirt for the boys and then Rick usually throws a fit and gets something...me, I'm over there looking at show halters... HA! and furniture, of course....

Well, if that's where we meet, I ain't driving! Good gosh, almighty!

Nat, if you want to come, you just come... I'll get you on the train or a bus and you'll be down here in no time, or maybe if Anita's coming down, you can hitch a ride with her! HA!

You know, if we did like a 30-day advance on airline tickets, for the World, we could all meet there. Just depends on what days - I like going during amateur, but if Lynn's stud gets in the finals, I'm going to have to go up for open. And I can't stay no gosh-darned week... you crazy people! HA!

But I will say this... if we met in Ok City, I danged sure know where the airport is, and I can pick you up! HA! Nat, you just get your butt down here, and I'll take you with us! And, yes, you can bring your boyfriend, if'n you must!

Maybe we can try to plan for Congress next year? That would give us time to figure how the heck we can do this. There are three on this side of the world (Mare, Shelley and myself). Congress is a long way for us. But a year would give us time to figure it out..

We could maybe fly to some point and pick up a hitch hicker or two.. Like our Little Sip.. And, there are a few in AZ and ragdoll could hop on with them.. Our wonderful Candian friends could maybe car pool.. And, our UK friends could maybe plan a vacation around it..

Those of you who will be showing your horse could have one loud crazy bunch yelling evertime the judges come near your horse and you would win like they do at the World..

I have been to the World show and frankly I was ashamed that AQHA would put on the biggest show in the world at a place like that.. YUK! PEE UUUU!... I was never so disapointed in my life and wanted to YANK my colt out of that filthy place.

I have never been to the Congress. And, would love to see that..

We have time to figure it out.. And, those of us who can make it might be able to help some who cannot for what ever.

Then of course we could all go to Lynn's with our canoes and stay with her.. That new little son will love us all for sure..

I think that would be great fun! I can meet Bluejay and we could go together. Next year would be plenty of time to get ready for some serious shopping! I have only been on a plane once and that was for skydiving so I will need Bluejay to hold my hand in case I get scrared.

Standby should have her filly ready for some reining by then (waiting to hear how the saddling went) and who else may be showing at Congress next year not sure if I will have anything... would like to but it is a big maybe...

Triple J! Dad wants to go see the Cutting and the Reining but I wanna see all the Hunt Seat, Equitation, and Showmanship stuffs.. I'm not much into watching another pleasure class there ever... it took two hours to just watch one class last year But I'm really really wanting to go this year... too bad I don't get my license til November or else I'd make my boyfriend go with me and I'd drive my butt there =P

Sheila one of these days I'll get down there! Even if I do have to ride sophie haha And I'll try to get that boyfriend of mine to come with... =P but idk how that would work out haha seein that my future husband lives there but one of these days!

HA! Nat, I'm not real sure what Trent's girlfriend or your boyfriend would think about things, but I'll be in the middle, so no biggy...you'll always be a part of this family, whether it's my future daughter-in-law, or the daughter I never had (probably a good thing on your part, my dear!) HA!

I really hope this works out one of these years!
