| Simon says, When you have them practice, Put them on the rail. Works great for horsemanship to. Simon says, Back you horse 3 steps. Simon says, Do a 90 " " Back 3 steps Simon says, Trot to cone. Back 3 steps. GOT YA! This is done while you give voice commands during practice. They love it. Also put a egg on a spoon, have them do everthing, like a pattern while they hold the egg with the free hand. | |

| I do not do horsemanship. But, when we teach the babies to show hatler we always to the full pattern in training. We do not just go out an set up. We do the whole thing. Have the jugde and wear a hat... One thing I found is putting a bit in the mouth and doing some patterns along with adding a circingle and driving reins. Do it backwards... Anytime you touch that horse you have a trianing opportunity.. Use verbal and body language.. The simon says game sounds like fun if you have a group. Or, just someone to make up the stuff as you go.. Make a list and then switch it out. Horses do get board with the same old thing everyday.. | |
