Yep! Sip would be closer, but I think she's West of them... It was creepy on Friday though, our forcast for the day was "smoke" ..and boy was it ever thick! Everyone had to stay indoors! drunken

Good grief, if it's not one thing it's another.. CA is having some big fires too.. We get some HUGE forest fires in Oregon. I have not been around any of them thank God..

Seems a little soon for all this to be starting.. scratch I hope it all goes away soon for you.

We've had some bad fires up here but none too close to me. The closest was probably 15 miles? I'm not real sure.

We have real nightmare-ish fires here....and we have had them right close to our house. Creepy to sit in the backyard at night and watch the mountains burn....a mile away.

About 10 yrs ago we had a really bad one. There was a "fire storm" 1/8th of a mile from the back of my property. A "firestorm" is tornado of fire.

Now I wish I would have let my husband burn-off the pasture last winter. It's waist-deep in dead weeds. I wish I could turn the horses out there, but I have to have new fencing put up. $$$$$$$$$$$$

WOW, that would scare me. And, the fencing thing.. It is all about $$$$$$ having a farm. Hard to keep up with. We have poored our heart and sole in to this place. Then I look at the pictures in the journal and wonder why.. Way richer then we are.. We really are just simple everyday people trying to enjoy our horses and get by... doggie
