4h fair

Open show on Saturday: Rachel and Levi got 3rd in halter, 3rd in youth SMS. Rachel and Black Bear got 3rd in trail, 2nd in HMS, and they won HUS and Equitation both!!! It was a big show...between 11 and 15 in each class. I showed Levi in open SMS and open walk trot and didn't place. There were 15 in that class and I was not good in the traffic.

Sunday was the 4h pleasure classes. Rachel has to compete in the senior division now and we have one girl who is very good. She shows almost entirely AQHA and even showed at congress this year. Her mom offered to have her scratch a class or two so Rachel could win. I said no. LEt her show. If Rachel loses to her, there will be no shame in finishing second to her and if Rachel wins, it will make her fair. So anyway, Rachel and Levi were Champion in Halter - geldings 6 and over. They finished reserve champion in halter geldings-all ages. Then, they rocked the sms class. It was a terrible pattern...very complicated. They won! Then, Rachel and Blackberry went champion in every class...western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, HUS, and hunt seat equitation. Awesome day! The trail pattern was awesome.

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! Tell Rachel, Im so proud of her! I love the offered to scratch, Robin, I assume, so Rachel could win. Then Rachel Kicked Bottie! Oh, Yeah!

No. They were actually at DuQuoin for the weekend. It was a girl named Emma. She has a big black gelding names Bonanza's Sweet Gold or something like that...very nice horse. He has been in training at the Hayne's since last year some time so Rachel was tickled pink.

I mentioned to Rachal she could put the loot in my Truck Ummmm she said they were going to bedroom.. What is up with that!
