Update on me and the horses

I've been fairly busy lately. I'm in EMT-Basic school until the end of March. I go two nights a week from 6-10pm. We start clinicals soon so I'll be working in the ER a couple times and will then do a couple shifts on the ambulance. After I finish EMT-B I plan on going back to paramedic school.

The horses have been good too. Haven't ridden Slim in a couple weeks so when I do ride him next I have a feeling he's going to be extremely fresh. But rode Emma Saturday and Sunday and she was good like always. That mare never lets me down. She's awesome. Both of them are!

About time! Hee Hee.. Boy they are stutting their stuff! Do you have her underlights, she is hairless! Boy, Boy, he is cutting a rug!

Nope no lights. She's never been one to grow much of a winter coat though. Just a blanket for cold nights and a sheet + blanket when it gets extra cold for both of em. That and quite a lot of brushing.

What'd you mean by "boy he is cutting a rug?"

Oh, Gosh, showing my age here, or should I say my Parents. When I was young, if someone had alot of energy to burn off, they would say, So and So is cutting the rug.. In the 50s, I guess. Since TV etc was not around the big form of entertainment, was dancing. It was referred to a cutting the run when it was a very active dance. So, if we were running around like we had all kinds of enery to burn, Mom would say, we were cutting a rug.

It's okay Kay! I've heard that before too!

Let me know if you need any help. I was an EMT for 10 years.. The test can be tricky.

Slim is the gray and Emma is the paint. Slim is 13 and Emma just turned 4. Emma acts like she's 13 and Slim acts like he's 4!

LOL.. sounds like they are good counter-weights for each other.

Slim is gorgeous! I love his color and his face!

And Emma is gettin stocky, lol shes gettin that nice paint booty on her!
