I think I mentioned to you guys at one point that I was getting my yearling filly tested for PSSM. Well results came back N/N so that was good news. Had my darling colts boy berries cut off the other day so That was a great day. Soon he will be out with all the others. I wasn't gonna bred my mare this year but now I'm thinking I might. I have a couple months to decide. I havent been on in awhile but sounds like your all doing good. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. We had Oregon company that brought the flu with them so I had a houseful of sickies. Trying to get ready for Christmas now. I hate shopping but I'm doing most of it online to make it easy. Its hard to get in the spirit when you dont have any snow yet.

That would be white on the eastern side of the state. We have it on the mountain tops but thats it. I'm sure it will be white here soon enough

Good news on the PSSM thing. Does this mean you are not going to let Leann have your breeding scratch I have not talked to her for some time but she was talking about buying the breeding from you for Dix.

The latest news around here is that it's going down in the 20's and will snow this weekend.. URGH.. All the water traufs are going to be shut down and water turned off.. Close up the dang barn.. And, pray for no broken pipes this year. Last year I finally convinced Lonnie to shut down the water to the barn so we did not end up with repairs to the auto waters in the stalls.. Saved our bacon.. No This kind of cold only last a few days around here thank goodness.... affraid

Coming from your Canadian Neighbour...... We just got snow the other day. Started with freezing rain, and now just snow, and it is certainly making up for lost time! So it may very well be on your way as it is still freakin snowing here. Very Happy

We keep getting the Plus 5 one day and minus 20 the next... ridiculous! Mad Sure makes it hard to climatize, can't imagine what the horses are going through!

I already turned my breeding over to Leann for Dixie. So you will be seeing her at the futurity. Of coarse I'll be there too.
Merikle you just keep that cold and snow up your way. I would love to get snow Christmas eve and have it leave New Years. Now thats really pressing my luck. But between rain or snow I'll take the snow any day.

Thats good news.
As for snow, we had some, then it melted and now it's back. Several inches of it. And we are quite a bit below seasonal temps right now. Winter sucks.
