They are all so cute! So is the top one a Pali and the bottom a red dun?

Both are red dun. Pep throws somewhere around 85% red dun.

wow cutie's! one looks red dun for sure... but idk? the other looks sorrel to me? maybe mock dorsal?

The two colts are red dun and the filly is definately a sorrel. Here's more pics of them. Duncan is a much lighter red dun than Tim.
This is the three of them together.



Robin and Tim together. That's our outdoor arena on the right. I was doing repairs while taking these. Snow was real hard on it. It's 2x2 page wire with a top sight rail.

And Pep overseeing. He really liked being turned out with the mares. They were all hand bred, except the pinto who is still left to foal, and the paint, who is here to be bred.

I use to think that the pali's had a white mane and tail but everyone seems to think mines a Pali and he has a (peachy) mane and tail. He looks like a red dun witout the dun.

I think it's cool that he doesn't have a white mane & tail. He's more unique that way.

Cremello sire, your baby is GUARANTEED the creme gene. He is a Pally, as there is no evidence of a black mane and tail which would make him buckskin instead.

They can have a peachy colored mane, but they certainly dont look like a red dun. Red dun is a red based horse diluted by the dun modifier, leaving red highlights. While they are lightened up, they do not have a creme gene. (Unless they are dunalino, which in that case, you would see very little red highlights.)

I myself just had a pally born, she has a peachy color to her. regardkess, she's simply a pally.
