Brennen put his 1st ride on Seth

Seth is Brennen's 2 year old. He got on him for the first time on Saturday. Right in our barn yard, not even in the pen. Of course, all of our pens are filled with snow and the yard is somewhat packed down. It went really well. Seth will move out to a cluck on the halter, but hadn't quite got the idea that it worked when Brennen was on him as well. But by the end of the 10 minutes, he had it figured out.
I was also thankful that we didn't end up selling the old saddle. Neither of Brennen's other two saddles fit him. The reining saddle was too wide and the barrel saddle seems too narrow.
I took some video with my camera, but can't get it to download. Any ideas? So until I get the video working, here's a pic of the two of them.

No kidding, also, tell him congrats on having such a well minded colt!

We were suprised how good minded he is. Sandy might be Brennen's 4-H horse, but she is not the most level headed horse around. She's sensitive and tends to get pissy about things like 3 hour clinics. She was fairly easy to start, once you taught her something, it stayed there, but she can get worked up. I hoped Seth would get alot of Pep's attitude. Pep is more relaxed and easy going about everything. I've been trying to get the videos up, but they wont load.
About Brennen's lack of smile, most of his pictures either have a scowl or one of those goofy overacting smiles. This was actually better than most of his pictures. He smiles alot, but they seem to disapear when the camera comes out.

is this one he/you bought, or bred? both boys are cute! look good together!

Brennen is his breeder & owner. His is from Pep's 1st foal crop. We were hoping to get some more babies out of his dam, but she hasn't stayed in foal for us again.
