first show?

so show season starts up again soon....(well at least for me...)
Im curious to see what is going on and when and where you are going for your fist show?? and who are you taking?


as for me, im taking 5 (2 halter, 2 WP, and 1 crazy Sophie...haha lynn.)to the Spring Breakout In Lex Va in March! Its always freezing cold, but we always have fun!!!!

There are a few schooling shows here in February, but they are mainly english, so we'll likely skip them. Otherwise shows here wont start til around May.
We'll be taking a full load.
Freckles- halter, SMS, walk/trot, costume, WP under 8.
Vamp- barrels & poles for both Brennen & I
Sandy- halter, SMS, HMS, WP, trail.
Tony- leadline, unless we can convince Sean to ride something else.
Seth- halter, 2 yr old WP
Hickory- halter, SMS, 2 yr old WP
Trouble- barrels & poles (if she's going well enough)

The first one around here is this weekend. I have no plans right now since my life is in termoil with family health issues. I am just trying to get by and keep going with people things..

I won't start on mine till it gets warmer... I just don't see any sense in fighting that mess. Course got to stop when football starts, though... One more year, and then I can start hitting fall futurities again.

Well If I dont get this Ky Incentive Fund 06 Gelding Sold, Mine will be April, in Kentucky

Sun Circuit, with Scotch in two year old halter. ) We have about ten AQHA shows this year, I think.

First show for me will be Febuary 3rd. Just an open show.

Sun Curcuit is a big show. Many from this area go to that one as well. Good luck there.. Should be fun..

Yeah, it is a big show, but not so much for halter. Last year, the class we're going to show in only had two entries. It's the riding classes that get the big entries... Maybe next year my reining mare will be ready to show there.

My first show for the year is in May,long way to go yet.I bet then it pours down with rain always duz.

Last year they had to tow the lorries off the mud as everything got stuck in.

My first show is a county halter show on Feb. 28. Nothing big but kinda fun. Im taking Pinto and Alley.
