| I had a couple of girls that worked for me on my place. The way they made their money was making these really loud shirts and matching saddle pads. They sell them on ebay. They attracted mostly kids and did a lot of pagent stuff, drill team and barrel racing outfits Take a look on ebay and see how it's done. They sold a lot of stuff there. They also keep the prices down so people can afford it. One thing I can tell you is there is nothing out there for us big girls.. Tons of stuff for the average size person. Nothing for larger and older women. And, if you do find something is looks like crap.. I would like to see things that are modern and in style for plus size women.. | |

| Yeah, I will not buy Hobby Horse any more. They used to be made super well but not any more. The last one I ordered, the crystals were falling off of it when I took it out of the package! I sent it right back and got a refund. | |

| well I have to tell everyone that allthough we have in the past been more specialized to youth clothing we have been heavily shifting to the older more fuller figure mature women.
my mom is getting back into showing and we have struggled to find patterns and styles that are attractive for her.
So we are modifying and making clothing that are stylish and attractive for a reall women.

| What I hate is trying to find something that will fit large breasted women with a slight contour. Usually they flare out and are not flattering at all. I found a couple of cheap sleavless shirts and my mom is going to make a pattern for me (hopefully). So much for my grandma wishing her grand daughter had bigger boobs than her, it is a curse instead. I guess though they hide my belly as my boobs stick out further! | |

| So do we get to see these outfits and shirts! Id love to see them. Blue Jay, that is what I love to make, is jackets. I can get carried away making those. I dont line them so alternations are easier and cheaper. Plus they are a whole lot cooler in the summer. Mercy! | |

| I open the forum up to respond or start a new thread.. Then minimize it. Then I open up a another internet explorer and go to tinypics. I browse and find the shot I want to put on the forum and upload it.. When that is done you will get a choice of what you want to post.. Just click the copy tab next to it.. Minmize that and bring back up your forum.. Then right click and paste in the text box.. You go back and forth like that until you have all the shots on the forum you want to add. You can preview them to make sure they came thru for you and hit send.. I took me a while to figure this out ... | |

| I need show clothes for my daughter. She will be 8 by show season, but she's not very big. I can't find anything around here that she doesn't swim in. And she has decided to go with purple. Any ideas? And do you do vests? | |

| She'd be about a size 7. Just a real simple vest would do. She will be doing walk/trot classes at open shows, so it doesn't need to be too fancy. I'll try to get her to stand still long enough to take some measurements. | |

| ok , we understand standing still. i even struggle for the standing still part.
We are checking today on th cost of shipping a package through customs to Canada. That was our only real concern that shipping to Canada may be quite expensive.

| I buy almost all our show clothes in the US. The shipping is usually very resonable, as long as UPS isn't used. They are rediculous, they charge me $40 for brokerage and such, over and above regular shipping fees, plus they just drop stuff off at the store in town, even when it is supposed to be door to door. I rarely go to that store, so once an item sat there for a week or so before anyone thought to let me know it was there. I usually have stuff sent through the mail. Never paid brokerage for any of that. Rarely pay customs fees either. Especially when stuff is marked as used. I had to pay $7.30 for duty on Brennen's pistol bit he got a year ago. That was the most I have ever had to pay on a single item, so I have no complaints. It's been real cheap so far. I think Taegan is thinking light purple slinky and darker vest. | |
