We left about 8 am on Wednesday so I didn't get your email until we got back yesterday. Sorry 'bout that.

I'm not sure how many more shows we'll get in this year with Nick. He was a little sore on the right front after the fair, but he seems fine now that he's had 6 days to recuperate.

Still lookin' for a replacement.

We went to the greenville horse auction saturday. They had a 12 year old buckskin there she did showmenship and walk trot, her lope was ok. Reg. brought 650.00 she was 15 hands. A 3 year old was riding her. I thought about you.

Dang. You shoulda brought her home for me.

Nice looking family!! Looks like a beautiful place for a nice relaxing vacation! My 17 year old son was in the room while I was looking at the pix and he was immediately drawn to your older daughter!! But I'm sure lots of guys are!! She's gorgeous!!

One of the reasons that vacation was soooo relaxing was that neither of the older kids were out driving while we were gone. And, we made them leave their cell phones home so there were no boys calling Sarah or girls calling Josh. It's like I had them isolated where I could "protect" them. The threat of bears is nothing compared to boyfriends/girlfriends, cars, etc. I really have not adjusted well to this driving and "going out" thing.

Nice family and good idea on leaving the cell's at home. It's so hard to spend anytime with the kids when real life is so busy..

Having older kids is a huge adjustment. And you are right about the bears being less then a threat then people..
