The four-time grade 1 qualifier to 3, 2007, is expected to compete this fall at Lone Star Park before beginning his stallion career. Ivory James finished second in the 2006 $677,365 Heritage Place Futurity(G1), and was a finalist in the Remington Park Futurity(G1), All American Derby(G1) and Remington Park Derby(G2). He was also the fastest qualifier to the 2007 Texas Classic Futurity(G1), but did not run in the finals.

Owned by Bobby D. Cox and Sylvia Shaw Pitman, Ivory James has earned in excess of $220,000. The son of Corona Cartel is out of the Strawfly Special mare Dashin Follies. His second dam is the World Champion Dashing Folly.

From four starters, Dashin Follies has produced Pyc Paint Your Wagon ($889,581), Ivory James ($220,026), Corinta Cartel ($31,724 to 2, 2007), and Separatist Follies ($36,160, to 2, 2007). Both two-year-olds were finalist in the $649,400 Heritage Place Futurity(G1) this year.

Ivory James will be joining 2006 World Champion Wave Carver and Devons Signature, who finished third in the All American Futurity(G1), at Royal Vista Ranches. His fee will be announced later.
