Stallions...

Ok - so a couple of you know what I'm up to on this and most of you don't. Here's the scoop...
I got tired of having to look in a bunch of different places to find stallions...everyone advertises in different places and there are some stallions that are just "local" that aren't advertised anywhere for whatever reason...
SO -
I'm putting together a spreadsheet with the following information:
Name - State standing in - Sire - Broodmare Sire - Fee - Farm - yearling avgs for 05, 06 and 07 - Speed Index - Money Earned - Number of Starts - Number of Wins - % ROM - %Winners - % Starters

Obviously this is for personal use only...however since I've been putting all of this wonderful information into Excel - I can sort it in any which way I want...so if I want a son of FDD out of a Chicks Beduino who stands for under $2000, I can find it in a quick little sort

Also - it seems a bit pointless to go through all of this blasted work for just myself...so I'm more than willing to share!

Once I get it all done I'll let you all know! Right now I have about 550 stallions...I don't have ALL the info on these guys but I'm putting everything I've got together... I'm hoping to be finished in another week or so!

If you know of any stallions that are out there standing but maybe don't have an ad, please let me know!!!!!

Also - suggestions/input/ideas/etc are all greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Boy, you have been a busy girl!!! We are in the midst of getting the Stallion Register started. Are you going to post a list of the Stallions you already have on here?? Or any of your info?? Just asking because I might come across some you don't have and vice versa.

I'll post the boys I have right now...some of them that are listed I have marked deceased and I'm sure I've missed a couple of those...Its just hard to keep track of the ones we lost sometimes so I figured that if I listed them and noted they were deceased that would be easier on me (my poor brain can only handle so much information before it starts screaming at me to stop )

OH - and BB means Canada (not sure why I did that...long night I guess), and x means deceased, I guessed on a couple of these guys since I'm not REALLY sure where some of them are going to be standing in 08.

Hehe - the "WHOOP" comes from being a Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2004 - WHOOP!

Aggie traditions are pretty awesome all told - some are pretty silly I'll give ya, BUT others are just flat out wondeful!

On a "normal" day when I was growing but we weren't allowed to use words like 'hell'...HOWEVER, IF it was a Saturday and the Aggies were playing, it was perfectly okay to say "BEAT THE HELL OUTA MIAMI" for example it is all in context you see
