| Doesn't really look like ring worm to me, is the skin raised at all, like it would be on a person? Ya know, it might be worth trying an anti fungal treatment (like one for athletes foot) on those patches. It couldn't really hurt. That way it will take care of any fungal problem, if that be the cause. Also, has Emma already shed out, or has she still be losing a little hair over time? Some horses shed out too much, then the hair grows back on average 3 weeks later, it's actually a condition. Is the hair growing back at all? Hope I can help, just let me know more | |

| It's kinda raised but not really. I'll try the anti-fungal treatment. I'll bring it out to the barn tomorrow. My step-dad has some of that touch actin tenactin *or however the heck you spell it* She's shed out most of her hair, she's still shedding out over her butt and some of her white patches. The hair on her neck looks to be growing back some, but the patch on her face has gotten bigger. When I get paid tomorrow I'm thinking about going to pick up some MTG too. For that and to help grow part of Slim's mane that he has ripped out. | |

| Sounds like you're on the right track then Give the antifungal product 5 days or so to take effect, just look and see if the skin irritation is going away, or if the hair is growing back Fungal problems are common in barns where horses can touch or grooming tools are shared. | |

| It's weird cause the only other horse that my brushes touch are Emma, Slim and my mom's horse. Slim and Magic don't have the skin irritation. But I do have the brushes at home and other things getting ready to sanatize them. | |
