Well how strange to find an article about Worrisome wounds when my mare has done the same sort of thing.Ive emailed AQHA to try and get the ladies details so i can contact her regarding this.

My little girl is doing so well but i must admit after reading about the hoof wall im a bit worried, going to give this article to my vet and see what he now recommends.

I will have to read it. I know with these wounds the big concern is the poor circulation to the region causing difficulty healing. Be very concerned with an products that have caustic agents in them as they may do more harm than good. Keep us posted on your pretty girl we are praying for her quick healing!

I will have to read the article as well. I know how concerned you are. You went through so much to get her. I am sure she will be OK with your great nursing. Makes a big difference when you take such good care of them. And, of course a little help from above is needed.. pray

Shiraz is bearing weight on the foot which is a good sign,we put her in the round pen for a little stretch and she went nutts.cant be feeling that bad really.Healing ok its just the gapping hole from where the hoof has seperated from the flesh, thats whats worries me more.
