| hey yall!
what are your opinions on fly sheets? My horses are getting eaten alive, (and im using full strength fly spray) by horseflies and these nasty things called green-heads, if you live by the bay like i do, you would understand.
Do you think fly sheets really help? or no?
and do they hold in heat? I dont want my poor guys sweating to death!!

| i use them all the time, the forest flies here are horrible. The best brands are weatherbeeta and Buccas, they also stop the coat from bleaching and the horses dont sweat in them | |

| I have the Wrangler fly sheet right now. It did cost a little more, but it really heavy and thick. When parker wore it last year, he didn't sweat very much at all. It also has a belly band, which i adore. It keeps the flies off of his stomach, and it keeps it in place. it also had fleece withers, to keep it from rubbing on him. i got mine from Smithbrothers. i will get u a link in a second.
Actually, for certain reasons, if you wanted to, i would sell mine. Its a size 80, (im pretty sure, i got it for davie) and we paid about 80 bucks for it.. I would take 50. it was used for 1 summer and a half. good condition... i really like it.
you can email me or tell me here if your interested, just dont' PM me,... ahaha i always forget to check that, so i might miss it.

| My boys are wearing the new AirFlow fly sheets that Weatherbeeta has. They have the belly band and neck peice. Suprisingly, they haven't sweat with them, AND their coats haven't faded at all! They are also very durable. The boys are turned out all day, and play hard They were a little more than I wanted to spend for two of them, but we have already saved money from the fly spray, LOL! | |

make sure you didnt have any snakes or owls around, thats the number one thing to destroy your bird herd!!

There was a seller on ebay (e-quus_tack) that I bought them from, who had them for about $10 cheaper. They don't have anything listed right now, but Dover also carries them
