Parade Today... Results Tonight!!!

Well, jus got back from the parade. I rode Kate and let my friend ride Pinto. The horses did good. I totally expected Kate to catch fire over all the excitement. I got to get out of marching with the high school band to ride my horse. LOL, I decided to be mean and walked my horse by the band people. Everyone said "hi" and wanted pet Kate. Clifton was mad because I was supposed to march next to him. Then, the girl who had the drugged up horse in the competition.... well her horse went NUTS! He ran into the middle of the road and pulled a nice rear in front of a car.... Everyone was okay. She FINALLY went and took the horse back to trailer and borrowed another horse.

We get the results for rodeo queen tonight. Im so excited.

Well?!! How'd you end up?

Well, I didnt get first, but I did get 2nd runner up out of 9 girls! I did pretty well. Whats bad is the girl with the drugged horse got the best horsemanship score. She didnt get queen, though. No, the one who got queen was the girl whos parents are best friends with the lady who runs it. Can you say "rigged". The girls who got sweetheart and princess were also good friends of the girl who runs it. so yeah, I doubt I will run next year. But I had fun doing it.

There is nothing wrong with 2nd place and runner up.. At least you can go on knowing you were honest and did things above board.. There is Karma for those who do not.. You should be VERY PROUD of yourself..
