| Howdy! I'm moving into my folks beach house on Bolivar Penninsula late summer/early Fall, and am looking for a place to keep my gelding closer to me. Two semesters without him is just rediculous :p. I go to school full time at Texas A&M Galveston, so anywhere on Bolivar Penninsula or even up near High Island would be wonderful. Not sure how I'd work out rent, if it's resonable enough I could pay, or I could just work off the debt myself. Or he could....I've used him to move and sort cattle, and I do Civil War Reenactments, so he's as broke as they come. No deadhead, but very able and usable. Not sure how I'd work with it but any ideas would be wonderful. Even if it's a small acre with no shelter, or if it's open land with a buncha moo-cows, he'll be fine. I just want tobe sure someone can keep an eye on him so no one steals him. Anyhow, if anyone's got any ideas, please PM me or ask for my cell and call. Thanks! | |

| You're too far from me, and Cindy's in Houston. Galveston is going to be tough to find. Might need to go up towards Baytown, something along those lines. And be forwarned, if a hurricane comes through, you'll need to move your horse QUICKLY! Last one down there, we actually had visitors from there, and one guy lost his whole entire house. Just so you know. | |

| Oh I'm well aware- I'll be on the penninsula so it won't be /quite/ as bad as the island...and I'm not gonna put him on the Island anyhow- too shady. That's why I was looking more toward Winnie-High Island-Crystal Beach and all that, or just waiting til Spring.
I've lived north of Houston all my life, and we've had the house down here for about 13 years of those. So it's made it a while through storms, I should be ok...him...we'll Ill be more picky. ;P Living on the Island for 2 semesters was enough for me anyhow...:/ | |

| The property we are leasing is next to Baytown. We're in Mt Belvieu now. Probably a little to far for you. There are a lot of places on the High Island side. Sounds like you need to take a drive and see what's out there. | |
