| Haha I think this is awesome! I missed the AQHA racing forum a lot but I like this one better already. Maybe the AQHA could put some kind of article on their website to get more people cause I know not everybody reads the comments part. | |

| Thanks Lynn, I like Remington too, even though the casino wasn't too good to me a few weeks ago. It'll be nice to get all the news again. Hopefully it stays horse related and thanks to y'all that got all this done. | |

| Justin - I'll send an email to AQHA and ask them to put a note up. I kind of doubt that they will, but heck, its worth a shot!!! I'm just going to continually pepper the comments section of every survey with the link!!! I missed our old forum and these folks have been WONDERFUL!!! Besides - how COOL are THESE emoticons?!?!? Hmm...I'll see what I can do! | |

| If you look to the left above the smilies there is a button to "View More Emoticons" click on smilies 2 and the big runner is there...the little dude with the smilie is at the very bottom of the regular smilies page! I just sent an email to the AQHA field editor, we'll see if anything is even mentioned! I just get excited | |

| College Station...you're SUPER FAR away from where I am!! What do you have running this year? We only have my 2yo and then 2 - 3yos right now, plus a few broodmares... | |

| Ya i'm over here in the big city. I don't own any horses right now, but my dad's a trainer. He's at Retama right now getting ready for the meet to start. I think he's got like four 2 year olds, that don't look like much, a few 3 year olds and the only good one is a four year old 870 horse. Where do y'all run at? | |

| My 2yo MIGHT be ready for Retama - I did have him paid into the futurity (dreamin big) but he irritated the pouch around his growth plate in his left knee so we gave him 30 days light work and now he is coming on STRONG - I think he grew an inch in that 30 days...I'm excited about him at 3+... We'll be running the 3yos at Sam Houston - one of them is an outside horse who came in with 10 starts at 2 and 3 wins... The other has a better bottom side than top and I think he's got speed, just not sure how sound he is going to be.
I've got mutts for the most part - the 2yo is a half bro to a stakes winner but noone would know him from adam, and one of the 3yos is out of a nice mare who isn't really fashionably bred

| I hear you, all of my dad's owners have money, but they'd rather buy 10 horses for $2,000 each than a good one for $20,000. | |

| Yeh - I hear you there. We've got some pretty nice mares right now and I'm really looking forward to 2008 We've got a Check Him Out baby out of a Chicks Beduino, a Feature Mr Jess out of a Separatist and a Sweet First Down out of a Sixarun...its gonna be a FUN spring...this year we had a Brimmerton out of the Separatist mare and he looks GOOD! We've also got a This Snow Is Royal out of a Windy Ryon that is a yearling right now...always fun!
My 2yo I bought because I loved his momma! She had 3 other foals, 2QH and 1 TB, The TB was a winner, both QH were ROM and one was a stakes winner...he's all guts!
The 3yo with funky breeding was a gift of sorts...the other 3yo is the one that helps to pay bills! My fiancee is a trainer - he's just getting started though, 1 little horse at a time.

| Those babies should be real nice. Great breedings. I think Brimmerton will be a good sire, he could fly and he's got the looks and breeding to back it up. | |

| Yeah, we're pretty excited about them, all are going to be Tx breds (HA, which isn't worth much these days). I want to get into the breeding end of it and let Garrett handle the racing end. Even though I swear my 2yo likes me better! Do you go to any of the match races in Bryan? You at TAMU? | |

| I don't know exactly - haha, I was hoping you could tell me. We're supposed to go with Inez De La Cruz - but personally I'd like to have my OWN vehicle! Garrett might go this Saturday. All I know is they are in Bryan and there are a bunch of people there...I'm workin on getting more info!
Heh, Inez just got two of our red heeler puppies! We've still got 2 males if you know anyone who is interested. They're $150 each and are up to date on shots and de-worming, and their tails are docked...will be 8wks on Friday.
Garrett is class of '02 and I'm class of '04...finals time is always so crazy!
