im not seeing anything that realy popps out expect deck of stars out of skipa star, thats what my mare has on her papers.
any thoughts?

Had to get Rick in here... he's better at bloodlines than I am... he's on vacation (don't go there!)... anyhoo, he says that Deck STar or whatever that horse was was a whale of a halter sire.

If it were me, I'd get them to send me pics of any of her foals she's had previously; if she has one on her now, or has any on the place there, get profile shots of all of 'em. If they have her dam, or have a picture of dam, get that, too.

That was sort of the same thing with me with Jazz... Bottom side absolutely nothing; top side, some. They just happened to own her dam, so they sent me pictures of her, and some previous babies she had with different studs, and that clenched the deal.

If she's up in Minnesota, talk Kelly (Phenom) to getting her for ya and breeding her to Phenom... tehe! Playing devil's advocate here....

Just what I need - another dang mare - HA - the house I'm about to move into needs a SERIOUS face lift - I think if it were in a city it would be condemned!

But the mare is super super wonderful and the person wants her gone NOW...I need more info really...but I want that danged 13yo mare!

i want something i can do WP, sms, horsemanship, and some performance halter. i have my filly right now that im going to be doing reining on. This mare im looking at is super cheap. AT a price i can afford. but if i could afford a horse at 5k or more i wouldnt have such a problem.
I dont mind either it is APHA or AQHA

If I see anything around here I will let you know... horses in this area have been pretty cheap. There was a nice AQHA mare posted at the feed store my hubby helps out at I think you would like Ill have to see if her flyer is still there... Im going over tomorrow...

What I have heard about the Epitome horses is they are good minded and good hocked. I've watched some videos on the BMQ site and it looks like they have some nice prospects. There have been a few pretty successful "BMQ" horses. The owner seems really nice, too (she posts on PHJ). Unfortunately the site is under construction right now, but the link is www.bmqhorses.com .

We have a horse sale that we're actually supposed to go to this Saturday. I need to make sure I pay ALL the bills before I go though, or sure enough Rick will talk me into something.

There's also a sale held every month in Whitesboro, which is around Aubrey, etc. and they have some jam-up horses... I'm talking quality halter, tons and tons of reiners, etc. I actually need to go up there, but I'm too scared to! HA!

I'm not a show horse person so I'm prally not the best person to ask ...
Body wise she is cute! She is a little camped under in the back, I'm not the biggest fan of how her head ties into her neck, from the knee down I'm not impressed... She is cute though and I don't know what you'd be using her for...hehe, she aint a race horse

Take this with the knowledge that I could put up a picture of ANY horse and find a gazzillion things I didn't like about them... Me thinks I'm overly critical
