Prayers For Gordie

I want to know if everyone can say a prayer for my little goat. He took a turn for the worse and is at the vet right now. He is in a big horse stall with an IV and they are pulling bood to see what is wrong with him

his balance is very off, weird gait, the membranes in his eyes are showing its so weird, his eyes were all rolled back into his head, and he was breathing really heavy its definately not bloat or anything digestive unless its a parasite, I personally think it is some type of toxcitity.

I know its like hes just a goat but hes my special little guy and any prayers are appreciated

My thoughts are with your little goaty when he needs them most.... I have goats and sheep too, and I know how sick they can get. But remember, animals are tougher than we give them credit for... Hopefully he gets better soon...

I talked to the vet it is either a kidney infection or kidney failure

they are putting him on anti-biotics for the infection and if he doesn't repsond then we have to put him down

I don;t know if this is just me trying to make things right in my own mind but I really think it is just and infection becuase he wasn't drinking a lot of water like in classic kidney failure -- and if it was kidney failure I don't think he would have held on this long
