Got another one

So I found this horse on craigslist and something about the ad made me just think about it ALL the time. I couldn't get it off my mind or decide whether I should go look at it and get another horse or to just save my money this winter. Well, my dad said prob can't get it but I could go look. I went and looked and fell in love, and then my dad says I can't get him :/. That was last Tuesday. Yesterday, the owners texted me asking if my dad had changed his mind, i said no, and then called my dad later and told him what they said. He knew I hadn't given up. So he said, well, you can get him and if he doesn't work out just sell in the spring. So, we went and picked him up!

They had rescued Rocket, a year ago, and now are moving to Georgia and couldn't keep him. He is a paint, but un-registered because of the rescue. Supposidly he is 4 but I think he's 3. I don't think he was ever trained professionally and the owner just rode him around. Calm as can be, very very smooth, going to be my new show horse I think since I don't have one anymore. Oh, and I bought him for only $300. I think he's pretty nice for $300 and after training him this winter I can't wait to see how he does in the spring at shows.

Yes soon he will be fat and happy!! Rode him today..hes not trained at ALL. He didn't know how to turn at all. thats ok though! More for me to do all on my own!

Lots of love and food will bring him right around.. It amazes me how so many animals that are neglected and uncared for have so much love to offer to humans...
