| My daugther rode my horse at clinic, was 4 hour drive there, then 4 hour drive back. Cor it was a long day. I really love this horse, nice at last to have found the one. Got asked to take her mane down for loads of pics. Of course she did us proud. I know have to get her new saddle as mine to wide, weve put thicker pad on for now. Dont help the fact that she growing and is downhill. We taking her next weekend to an English In Hand show, should be a laugh. I myself going to start riding her in 2 weeks time, stitches should hold out more by then, im getting real itchy feet to get on. We also getting her used to hacking out in New Forest, which she is learning fast and enjoying. Anyways heres a few pics of her, My daughter is the one riding her, makes my horse look small when she isnt, the lanky lollap. The day she arrived At clinic | |

| Your daughter needs to let her stir-up down, to much bend in her knee. Rosie Looks Great. So quiet and taking things in stride! That mane is something else! | |

| It actually kind of looks like all the riders I can see in the photos have their sturrups to high. Just a very slight bend in the knee, if she stands she should have an inch or two between the saddle and her. If she stood now it would be prob 4-5 inches at least. | |

| SIP, That is more than a slight bend to the knee. jmo Reiners, If the mare is trained like the reiners here in the states. Feet forward, heels down, and sitting back, when asking for a whoa, with slight body forward, only after moving into the slide, deep in the seat asks for the Whoa like you are pushing your seat down into the saddle. Pushing your feet forward when asking for the whoa. Moving your feet forward after the stop or when asking for a back is the cue. Even in a horsemanship class, Id would have liked to see one hole down, The leg moved back, Stitting up, shoulders back. Heels down, making the leg longer. Can you tell I have shown horsemanship! And Judged it. I have broken/Crushed my ankle while in the fight with a stallion I was training. The Yearling From h#!!, The devil himself. Anyway. It keeps me from the proper placement now when I practice. JMO. Of corse that is if any of this makes sense.. Hee Hee. I do like her heel placement for Horsemanship. | |

| What she has is more than a slight bend, yes, its way to much. I'm saying a very slight bend is all you need. | |
