Ive learned a hard lesson

Never ever sale a horse on payment terms.

I sold a foal on payment terms to some people. Well they faultered on 2 months payments. I tried contacting,via email,texting phoning and nothing. So im starting to then get very worried.

Well cut very long story short,she is now home and is in the most awful condition. All skin and bone. Vets have written a report and body scored her 2 1/2 out of 9. She is very weak and a right mess.
The RSPCA are going to see if they can make a case out of it.

Im very very angry as another month and she would have died.


At least she home now and fingers crossed on the mend.

glad you have her home she is so much better off... the only time Ive sold on payments they stayed with me until the payments were completed and they paid board as well... just a suggestion... If that ever comes up again but in this case glad she is with you for now so much better off..

Oh, Bless her heart! you should take before and after photos. So if a case is made you can have proof what good care can do.

Thank God you got her home when you did.. I do the same thing Lynn does but I attach a date for the horse to be paid off and out of here. And, what happened to you is exactly why I do it this way. I hope there are charges filed against them for neglect.
