What to do???

OK - so...I know what the LOGICAL thing to do is - but I'm just throwing this out there to hear your thoughts...
I have a mare - she is a 2001 model AA, stakes qualified, and only earned $10k, she has a pretty decent little family though - nothing AMAZING - but solid...

I bought a breeding to Hadtobenuts really cheap in a stallion auction...

Here are the things I've been thinking about:
1) Race her until Mid-March, then breed her - this means ONE out - but I'd put her in a 250yd mini stakes - she could get smoked - but it would be a LOT more fun...
2) Breed her the middle of Feb for a January foal
3) Scrap the whole deal and get rid of my breeding (sell or give away)

Let her run then breed her if you think you have a chance to get what you want out of her. I guess it depends on how many horses you and and how many you want..

The foal would be worth more if she had a record right. See if you can hold the breeding over for another year... Just a thought.

She has a race record now and its decent - not great but decent...

If we were to run her again it would say through 8 instead of through 4 which it says now...

I THINK what we've decided to do is breed her on her first cycle...who's to say we could get her to run well? I THINK we could - but eh...she is marketable as it is...

It woulda been fun though!!!!!!!!!!
