| I really LOVE the top side, and the bottom side is a little less known and the names you'd like to see are a little farther back than I'd like, but, what's she look like? I really do like the top mix though and there's no complaints about the maternal grandsire lines. | |

| Not sure yet - tryin to decide if she is worth going to look at...
Also thinking about taking a road trip to OK - a guy has 3 horses up there I REALLY REALLY like...2 are race bred and 1 is a little working type yearling. I'll see though. I might see if a friend wants one of the race bred horses and then we can split the trip up. And they are priced right (cheap cheap cheap) - they look good and i think a deal could be made.

| I love Playgun... the mares side does nothing for me , the good stuff is just too far back and I think the mare does a bit more for the horse than anything (definately need a good balance but can't go without a good mare) but worth looking at the a good price....

| Take your time.. Get what you really want and not another one you just want to get rid of.. I did not see anything on the lines of the other one I would be interested in. I agree with Lynn that the good ones need to be real close up. All the stuff in between just doesn't float my boat. Everything is cheap right now and you can just about name your price.. | |

| I like Playgun horses too. I have a grandson of Playgun that I really like. But that is farther back than I'd like. If she were a daughter of Real Gun rather than granddaughter, I'd be more impressed. With the market in such bad condition, you can get one heck of a well bred horse for cheap right now, so if you aren't sure, wait for one that you are sure about. | |

| OH, Ouch showing my age here.. Peppy San was great. The Badgers horses, were well know in my area. Just really sound minded horses, Crossed on hotter lines. Loves Zan Par Bar horses. Poco Dell, I see alot of old stuff on here that makes a really nice foundation horse. The Playboy Freckles horses have now been replaced with new bloodlines as well, I guess time marches on.. Im going to edit this to say, On another forum someone did a poll, they asked what is most important to you when buying a horse, Of corse this was on pleasure horses. The horse The breeding Its temperment 90% said the horse... They commented that a horse could have the best set of papers in the world and be a nothing, or could have a set of papers that says, Show me halter and kicks but in pleasure.. Me it goes, The Horse, the temperment then papers. Edited, I made a Money, Money on an Par Bar gelding running barrels, flags and poles. He was so much fun. Head full of sense.

| Lynn's little man has really grown. I think it's about time for some new photos... He no longer looks like a baby.. Just a little man now.. CUTE... JJJ is right about horses. I have no interest in a horse that is not pretty. PERIOD.. And, unless you want to be one of those big time people that lie and abuse horses to make money it should not matter.. Get something you just love. The rest really does not matter. I am so sick of the BS things people do and say.. Been around too long I guess and know that it's nothing but lies to rope in people who do not know anybetter.. This include the idgets breeding unregistered horses.. Standing a stallion that is not registered just goes to show how stupid they really are.. You can get a nice back yard horse for less then you can breed one.. I am not saying these are bad horses either.. If you just want something to jump on and ride for fun then go for it.. Geld those grade stallions and do not breed those grade mares.. This is why we have all these starving and neglected animals. Did not intend to jump on this in the way I did. I just keep thinking about the most famous people in the QH world that breed all their mares, keep one or two good ones then take the rest to the auction as grade horses and sell them for nothing. | |

| I hear you on the breeding quality stock - I refuse to buy a horse that isn't registered - only because I'd rather know what I'm getting into than not. It just makes sense. I've decided - after many thoughts and one really really really cute buckskin colt who was registered and priced CHEAP - that I'm going to sit back and wait...we have a few things we need to get sold - my MINI Cooper for one and possibly my Dashing Val mare...until we get rid of one or both of those I'm not buying a dang thing! Passing up that buckskin was tough though - he is really cute - in OK but really cute... I know better though...it STINKS! But all in its own time. | |

| I know that tempting feeling.. This is how we end up with so many. When you are ready there will still be plenty out there and likely one that is just what you are looking for.. And, still cheap. I found a nice paint filly I wanted really bad. I made an offer and she turned me down. Thank God.. Really a stupid move on her part in this market. She wanted 2000.00 for her and I offered her 1500.00. Now I no longer want her. She would have been something I would have had to wait a few years on. Not really a good move for me.. Thinking back to why I wanted her I realize it was the pedigree more then the horse. Would have been nice in my breeding program. But, like I said, it would have been at least 3 years before I could have even bred her. At our age that is too long.. | |

| ARRRRRRRRGH - Ok - so, tell me to be STRONG!!!!!!!!!! I just checked the mail and my dear father sent me $500 for my birthday. The colt is $750 and I got my last check from my 3yo a week ago for $300 - this is all "EXTRA" money - nothing I was counting on and nothing I had budgeted out for important things... He is a cutie: | |

| ok I am horrible and you sound like you really like this colt but you "could" make them an "offer" doesn't have to be 750.00... he has a beautiful balanced trot, would love to see those pics bigger. | |

| I've seen a t-shirt in catalogs that says : II DO NOT NEED ANOTHER HORSE I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER HORSE I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER HORSE ! of course, that doesn't stop most horsepeople when they see a deal or have some extra money burning a hole in their pocket! | |

| I know - I already told Garrett I wasn't going to get him. That is of course before I knew my dad was going to give me 500...
Now I wouldn't even have to shuffle money around... ...

| What in the heck are you waiting for? Hook your trailer up and go get him. If you like him then you should have him. I would offer less and see what they say. I'm not helping you say NO at all am I | |
