| What make/brand of saddles do you guys swear by. My equiflex saddle which is great dosnt fit my stallion so im after a new saddle for him. Im after a reining saddle with full qh bars as my equi flex is extra full. What would you reccommend? | |

| Allen ranch outside of Tulsa makes an awsome saddle they fit my horses as well as me so nice I wouldn't ride a colt in anything else. Ive heard people swear by Bob's as well. I never skimp on a saddle it will be with you forever if you take care of it. | |

| I ride in mostly Circle Y & Bob's Saddles, but you have to make extra sure the circle y fits just right, I don't think they're made for every horse out there. | |

| I have a saddle custom made by Steve Schooly in Mason, TX - he does a GREAT job and listens to everything you want - or you can just turn him loose with some guidelines (which is what I did). I LOVE my saddle and it fits all of my horses...he did a great job for me!!! | |

| Vinton saddles are great. Heres the link http://www.vintonsaddle.net they are a little expensive, but worth it in the long run. SWTPA gives them out for every class at the year end awards show. I also ride in Circle Y's. I have a trophy saddle I use for sorting. It very comfortable. Silver Mesa is pretty comfortable too, they have them at Sergeants. | |

| Im not keen on Circle Y so thats out. Theres a few Billy Cooks for sale over here. The equi flex is comfortable for both me and the horse it fits, wouldnt mind a Pullman or Bobs. Im very fussy on saddles,to me it has to fit right with no extra pads etc otherwise its like fitting a child with a bad shoe, you just wouldnt do it. | |

| Crates and Billy Cook are the most popular ones around here and the ones I know of. The Circle Y and Tex tan are cheap. Really depends on what you want to spend.. I have a brand new Circle Y that has a large seat on it (18). QH bars... Double tooled/rigging and really a nice saddle. I paid 1000.00 for it and have never used it.. There is nothing uglyer to look at then a big butt hanging over the saddle. That is why I bought this one. You cannot just go out and get a saddle off the shelf like this one. You just never know when I may want to take a ride.. If and when I do my butt will not hang over and everything matches.. I have many miles of trails around here and one day I will get out on my old mare, shoe her and go.. She is 22 and retired from breeding.. I got her a new bosal since she hates the bit.. I figure if the grandkids can ride her, we can have fun on some smooth trails.. | |

| Yea go have some fun Bluejay. I know im having to dope myself up on painkillers when weather really damp here, which sadly at mo is most of the time.
Im planning on doing a 10 mile endurance ride on him next year, cant do much more as he only 4. My daughter is coming with me to on her 4 year old gelding.
Im just sending my boy away to a trainer,he coming on real well but with our weather im not getting much riding in,so he off to my trainers for 2 months as they have an Indoor arena.(thats so not fair) | |

| I had a Saddlesmith reining saddle that I loved and fit my horses great. Really wish I hadn't sold it. Brennen loves his Big Horn. They just went under though. I have also ridden in several Bob's. I'd darn near kill for one. | |
