Subject: Emma Meets the Donkeys October 21st 2008, 3:11 pm
These are from not too long ago I just never felt like posting them. I moved Emma down to the little barn because I moved Slim back and there wasn't a stall open at the big barn. I turned her loose in the round pens and she went crazy.
I actually ride this wild thing bareback with just a halter and lead rope.
I turned her out the next day and she spotted the donkeys. My bombproof spooks at nothing horse is afraid of a little donkey. Come on Emma, that's like your cousin haha
The oh so scary donkeys
RUNNNNN!
The video: And yes when I yelled "HEY", she was really trying to get as close as she could to me. I was her protector of the donkeys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rb-hMh63ak

Try putting a Llama in with her and you'll really see some action. Mine hated Llamas so bad so of coarse I got one. Now they could care less.

The donkeys aren't even on the barn's property they're not owned by the BO either. It's just our 'neighbors'. I've heard of llamas and horses and how much action you get then. what's funny is the donkeys never even neighed they didn't even come completely up to the fence. I had the camera zoomed all the way in to even see them that close. They were a good 100+ feet from us. She was just all "OMG what the heck are THOSE!?!"

The folks behind us had big white turkeys and when they walked around the yard my horses freaked out. They were not even close to the horses. Turkeys can be very scary when they walk around you know... J
