heres a picture of my poor foals bad leg,Its not bad considering all the muscle stitched up inside where he degloved it down to fetlock.He did this Saturday night and pics were taken today(Wednesday).

At least it's in a place that will heal fast since it will not be bending. This looks like nothing compared to what you went through with your filly. No sweat, you will have that back in place in no time. Just remember that nice cold water to keep the swelling down.
You are a great nurse and will get through this.

My Sir Quincy Dan grandson did that when he was 4 yrs old.... He de-gloved his rt front leg about 3 inches below his elbow....Completely around the leg. The exposed area was about 6 inches wide. The vet couldn't stitch it.....He said it would just pull apart. I used Cut Heal on it. It was completely healed in less than a month. Just a narrow line for a scar.
