She is a registered New Forest Pony, who we think will go over height as she about 13.3 now, hehehe and there you thought it was a bad quarter horse.

My new boy is just finishing his breeding season then off to trainers.

This is him when born,he was nearly classed as a paint but he turned grey just like his mum.Says on his papers undesirable amount of white. My friend was hoping to get him dual reg but paint people said no.Kinda obvious he was a grey.

Greys aren't born with that much white.... they usually have some grey circling around their eyes/ears etc, but not like that. he does look like he may have some sabino going on there.

Regardless, he did turn grey, and is a very pretty boy Smile

I am not sure when they changed the rule on crop outs.. scratch I thought it was 2006. If that is the case he should be elgible for APHA registry. I am surprised he was red when he was a little tooter (as 7C would say). Does he still have all that white on him?

Those are some strange looking halters you have over there.. I have never seen one like that. scratch

You guys breed mares really late over there. I usually try to be done by June.

I've seen "headcollars", see I even know the term Laughing , like that before. Just an adjustable foal halter with a grab strap. I like the ones that adjust over the nose. They can be easier to use.
I like him. When are you bringing him home? Is he staying a stallion?

I emailed my paint breeder friends about what year was the last. I think it may have been 2005. Since I had one born in 2006 and could not do it. I will let you know what they say on the matter of crop outs. I thought they would have changed the rule back though since this is where they even came to be. And, all the money and members it cost them. scratch study

Would be cool if he could be dual reg, added bonus.

Reining fan,he staying a stallion for now.His first crop of foals have hit the ground and there nice bunch of foals. If i think he should be gelded whether it be for temperment or other reasons he will be gelded.

They only breeding him late to few mares as owners of mares are into polo.
He going straight to trainers end of September, wasnt looking for a stallion but thats how it goes i guess.
