| I have them on all the alfalfa/brome/timothy hay they can eat, a ton of oats, plus free choice foal pellets. Been dewormed. They are not eating the pellets. Any suggestions? | |

| Yeah, I'm going to try a different brand of pellets. Maybe that'll help. I feed oats at 6am, 1pm & 8pm. And they clean every last one up. I might add some oil to them and see if that helps at all. I also have free choice mineral out there. | |

| I feed frisky foal, but have also noticed, if they dont eat it with their moms, they usually dont really want it later on. well atleast it takes work to make them enjoy it! lol

| We fed the pellets while they were still on their moms. The mares gobbled them up, but maybe I got a bad batch or they changed something. I'm trying somefrom the other mill today. As to hay prices, I actually have no idea what they are. Wade & I cut and baled 2000 squares and over 50 rounds. If the rain lets up and it doesn't freeze, well get a second cut of alfalfa too, but the forecast doesn't look good. What are prices like there? | |

| OMG!!!!!!! I haven't seen hay that cheap since I left Grand Junction, Colorado in 1985!!!!!! We're paying $275.00 a ton, and real happy to get it!!!!! They aren't growing as much hay out this way as they used to.....Many are growing corn now. | |
