as her father passed away this past Sunday. Funeral is this coming Thursday. If anybody needs the info, please let me know, and I'll forward.

We're thinking of you, Kay!

Edited to add the following:

Funeral services for Gene Ballance of Anna, Illinois will be this Thursday, 6/19 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home, 301 W. Spring Street, Anna, IL 62906, (618) 833-8222. The funeral guy said if you want to send flowers, probably best to call the local florist, at Jan's Florist, (618) 833-7621.

Kay's personal address:

Kirt and Kay Jackson
16257 State Route 136 E.
Robards, KY 42452-9324

Kay's e-mail address (I hope she doesn't kill me for this) is: jjj_qh@bellsouth.net

I know what you mean about being lost without him. I was raised by my grandparents. My grandma died 3 weeks before my oldest daughter was born so she never got to know my kiddos. Of course that's been 18 years ago now. Then, Papaw died in '98. He was the one who bought me my first pony and then my first horse when I was 8 yrs old. He always loved to hear about what we were doing with the horses. Sometimes now that Rachel is showing, I wish I could pick up the phone and tell him about it because I know he'd be tickled pink. It's always hard when you lose your biggest fan and I knew I'd lost mine when he died. I know it's tough. Hang in there.
