Horse show this Week end.

Well, Lets just say I got there to late and missed my class..

Yeah, they did alright for their first show together. She ended up with $80 which she wants to use to buy a tail extension for her horse. Thanks Kay for letting us use yours for the show. Things I have noticed that Rachel has improved on are:

1. She's doing much better at sitting up straight (she lost the drunken cowboy posture).

2. Her SMS has improved tremendously. She's remembers to look at the judge, smile and have fun.

Things we need to focus on now:

1. Getting her more comfortable at a lope--she tends to lean forward and drop her toes so her heel is up. Kay also spent some time showing her some other spur broke horses during the OPen WP class. Thanks again Kay. She also gets a little tense coming in to traffic at the lope. Her horse's lope is nowhere near WP material at this time, but he can do it once she learns her part.

Ah, Heck. Spur Stop, is hard to learn. But once she gets it she will love it!
She looked so cute, And as soon as she relaxes.. She will be kicking bootie all the time. I thought they did well togather for the cold weather, and little riding time. And ummmmmm She came home with money in her pocket! Didnt she???? Dropped Gi Gi off yesterday, WOW what a barn. It was 64 degrees in there, Couldnt even hear the rain. Really nice lounge/office area. With the Congress Trophies on display.

PS Heated indoor too.. I want one!

We have a break until 5/31. We're actually going to Florida for a week. THen, she's got something every weekend in June...gonna be a busy summer.
